Over this semester I've gotten so much better at not only planning my art, but also executing it. In the beginning i wasn't all that good and i only wanted to draw dragons in any way shape or form. But I gradually got over it and learned to love landscapes and other forms of art as well. Many were hard and I got lots of good advice from others, it is only thanks to others unending help that some of my pieces turned out the way they did. Looking back, if i were to know where i'd be right now i wouldn't really believe you. Although my understanding of how a body is supposed to look in a drawing is still poor, i now have a better understanding of color as well as composition has improved by a landslide. I've learned pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, printmaking, clay, and a few others throughout this semester and my how the time has flown. There is no doubt in my mind that art will forever hold a place in my heart, right next to the dragons and music that i have memorized. If given the opportunity i strongly believe that all students should have the opportunity to try out either music or art as both have played a huge part in my life in high school and middle school. Thank you to all the teachers and staff that have made me who i am today, it was an honor to learn from you.
